Must have 1+ years of Milling/CNC experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform machine shop operations to support plant floor
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, de-burring and all bench operations.
- Adjust milling/turning programs at the machine
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine operations.
- Ensure all documentation is timely, complete and correct
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition on a daily basis
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to lead
- Punctuality and regular attendance are required.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic understanding of CNC operations, including G-code.
- Must be able to use precision measuring tools.
- Task-focused with attention-to-details
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- At least 1 year of experience with operating a CNC machine / Verticle Lathe and CNC Mill
Physical Demands
- This position is in a manufacturing environment and could involve standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching for long periods of time throughout the day
- Safety shoes (non-skid with a reinforced toe), safety glasses, ear protection and other personal protective equipment is required.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school required / 1 year experience'
